In this series we interview Aurovilians about their personal experiences with the Matrimandir in Auroville. Today it is Andres.
Andres heard about Auroville in 2011 while visiting India on a student-visa. He visited Auroville then, and back again a couple of more times, before he had the opportunity to volunteer for a whole year in 2015. As a volunteer he could go and meditate inside the Matrimandir at 4 am everyday, and often got into trouble for overstaying, because Andres lost track of time when he was inside the Matrimandir.

Matrimandir and I as a series is a human experiment, looking into how aurovilians relate to the soul of Auroville – the Matrimandir. The dream is to interview all citizens of Auroville.
