I’m Serena Aurora, an independent filmmaker with over a decade in cinematography, directing, editing, and full production—from scripting to exhibition. Drawn to sustainability, I’ve filmed organic farms, eco-villages, and communities under Aurora’s Eye Films. Based in Auroville, South India, my team and I create raw, script-free documentaries on communal living—join us!

Sound Designer
I’m a composer & sound designer, and also an interdisciplinary artist specializing in painting, printmaking, and immersive installations. I deliver captivating live performances and original scores for films, documentaries, and animation, blending sound with visuals for emotional depth. With 10+ years in copywriting and branding, I now fuse storytelling across galleries, stages, and screens!

Born in Kerala and educated at Bangalore University, I arrived in Auroville in 2022, drawn to its vibrant communities. At 20, I grabbed my first camera, capturing planned shoots and fleeting moments as raw expressions of my inner world. Now, as a junior editor at Aurora’s Eye Films, I immerse in visual storytelling—eager to craft my own visionary projects!

I’m Ananda Krishnan, a filmmaker and cinematographer from Chennai. I started in marketing in 2018, but filmmaking became my natural way to connect with people and places. Rooted in observational cinema, I favor natural light, real environments, and patient framing. I craft purpose-driven projects through cinematography, editing, collaboration, and learning by doing.

Currently pursuing my Master’s in Electronic Media at Pondicherry University, I bring a detail-driven creative approach to films, documentaries, and digital media projects, crafting stories that resonate through precise vision and meticulous craft.

I’m a passionate filmmaker based between Chennai and Puducherry, freelancing as a video editor and photographer. My specialties include commercial, food, stock, and modeling photography, alongside crafting short films, advertising films, and capturing event moments. Excited to contribute to Aurora’s Eye Films!

Raised in Kuilapalayam near Auroville, I studied computer engineering before earning a digital filmmaking degree to follow my passion. I’ve worked on major Tamil films as the director of photography, editor, graphics artist, and VFX specialist. With family ties to the Matrimandir, I collaborate with Serena at Aurora’s Eye Films while pursuing my dream feature directorial debut.

Sound Engineer
Born in Russia and moving to Australia at 14, I was inspired by Auroville’s visionary ideals. In 2019, I joined this global community to explore sustainable human thriving. Drawn to Aurora’s Eye Films’ purpose, I bring eight years of self-taught sound engineering with Ableton Live to post-production—excited to grow with the team in Auroville!
