In this series we interview Aurovilians about their personal experiences with the Matrimandir in Auroville. Today it’s Adil.
Adil, came to Pondicherry in 1998 for a pottery workshop. The friend he was staying with informed him that they would go for a bonfire in Auroville. He had no idea about Auroville till then. But that fire at the Matrimandir’s grounds lit a spark in him that connected him with the Matrimandir in a lifelong bond.

Matrimandir and I as a series is a human experiment, looking into how aurovilians relate to the soul of Auroville – the Matrimandir. The dream is to interview all citizens of Auroville.
