Devan visited Auroville with his wife and child, with a plan to stay for a week, in 2016. On the very first day itself he felt right at home. The family came to Auroville without knowing anyone personally, just with an open heart. Through discovery Devan visited Matrimandir for the first time within a few days of being in Auroville, and for the next two months, each and everyone of Devan’s days always began with a visit to the Matrimandir.

Matrimandir and I as a series is a human experiment, looking into how aurovilians relate to the soul of Auroville – the Matrimandir. The dream is to interview all citizens of Auroville.
